Product Description Welcome to Singapore Math--the leading math program in the world! This workbook features math practice and activities for third grade students based on the Singapore Math method. An introduction at the front of the book explains Singapore Math and its common problem types. Each unit has learning objects, which clearly define the skills to be learned in that section, and an answer key with step-by-step worked out solutions that help students see how to work the problems. This book is perfect for students familiar with Singapore Math and for those who just need extra math practice.

| Customer Reviews: Not the same as the ones from Singapore Math's Site January 21, 2010 H. Gardner (Provo, UT) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These are NOT the same books from the Singapore Math site. I actually like these better. I have found that their companion workbooks (sold on the Singapore site) with the textbook do not give enough problems per page. I think this is a better deal, especially with the 4 for 3 promotion. It helps to solidify the concept better, than just the one or two problems in the other Singapore workbooks. I will now purchase the Singapore textbook and use these to do the practice problems.
Not from the Singapore Math publisher July 9, 2010 Tari L Hoekel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I emailed with the official distributor of Singapore Math here in the US, and this series of "practice" books are not a substitute for their workbooks and textbooks. These are simply practice books that use some of the concepts that the Singapore curriculum has developed. There are lots of them in Singapore itself. But saying this is "Singapore Math" is like going to a teacher supply store, buying an random math practice book, and calling it "American Math". We've used the real Singapore Math for almost 4 years now, and I think we'll stick with it.
